The Person Behind the Blog
About
Hey, I'm Sam —
the guy behind Strong Sam.
By day I'm a full-time software engineer, building things in the digital world. But when the laptop closes, I trade my keyboard for kettlebells. Fitness isn't just a hobby for me — it's a way of life, a mindset, and a practice that keeps me grounded, focused, and genuinely strong. Both physically and mentally.
“Strong at 30. Strong at 60. That's the goal.”
Why I Started Strong Sam
I started this site because I wanted to share what has genuinely worked for me — earned through years of trial, error, and a lot of early mornings. Not programs designed for full-time athletes. Not advice from people who have never had a deadline or a packed calendar. Practical strategies built for people with real jobs, real lives, and real constraints.
Who This Is For
Strong Sam is for people like me — folks who work hard, love a good challenge, and want to feel stronger without obsessing over perfection. Whether it's building better habits, running a new workout program, or figuring out how to eat well while still enjoying life, I'm here to share what I know and what I've lived.
- →You have a demanding job and limited time to train
- →You want results backed by evidence, not hype
- →You care about longevity, not just aesthetics
- →You're done starting over — you want something sustainable
Welcome to the journey. This is a long game — built rep by rep, session by session, year by year. I'm glad you're here.
